Friday things get going early with the Hogtown Syncopators followed at 6:30 by Sara Dell and then the Bob Brough Quartet featuring Sophia Perlman at 9:30 pm. Saturday Justin Bacchus gets things warmed up before Ernesto Cervini at 9:30 pm.

The Pilot has the Pat Labarbera Quartet in Saturday afternoon from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, and the Norman Marshall Villenuve Quartet Sunday.

OK, so I’m sorry for the lack of posts since taking off to attend the Montreal Jazz Festival. I’ll be wriing a follow up in the next couple of days, but in the meantime… it’s that time of the week again!

And finally here is a reason to take a long lunch Monday, Bill McBirnie and his Extreme Flute is performing with Robi Botos (piano) at noon in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Trinity Square (beside the Eaton Centre). How cool is that!
