November jazz starts now!

Tonight at the Rex you can catch Kevin Quain warm up the crowd before Pandemic hit the stage at 9:00 pm. Friday things get going early with the Hogtown Syncopators followed at 6:30 by Sara Dell, and finally wrapping the night up with the Kingsley Etienne Trio at 9:30 pm. The Kiki Misumi Quartet take over Saturday, but not before the Mr. Justin Bacchus warms things up from 7pm.

Pianist Peter Hill has been in at the Opal Jazz Lounge since Tuesday, and you’ve got three more chances to hear him before he wraps up his stay Saturday. The Friday and Saturday show’s include tenor and soprano saxophonist Shawn Nykwist.

The Pilot has the Bob Brough Quartet in Saturday afternoon from 3:30 – 6:30 pm, and then it’s the Gene Pool Boys.

Finally, Sunday if your a guitarist you won’t want to miss Reg Schwager conduct his Jazz Guitar Seminar at Chalkers Pub from 4:00-6:00 pm. Then stick around for a performance by the Reg Schwager Trio from 7:00-10:00 pm.
