The Global Divas are back again this year and a must see. Featuring jazz saxophonist Jane Bunnett and The Spirits of Havana, and headlining the ‘Global Divas’ Telmary, Emeline Michel, Suba Sankaran and Rita Charelli. The 5th Annual Global Divas benefit concert will take place on Tuesday, June 12 at the Palais Royale Ballroom in Toronto.
All proceeds from the 5th Annual Global Divas gala and concert will benefit Toronto’s St. Stephen’s Community House Youth Arcade.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, these workshops are an amazing opportunity for a look inside the head some truly talented musicians. Chalkers Pup again presents a Sunday afternoon workshop with guitarist Reg Schwager.
Reg has performed with internationally acclaimed jazz artists such as Mel Tormé, Pepper Adams, Hank Jones, Junior Mance, Jimmy McGriff and Zoot Sims, and such celebrated Canadian jazz musicians as Diana Krall, Rob McConnell, Peter Appleyard, Oliver Jones, Dave Young and Don Thompson.
The workshop is $15 and is from 4-6 pm and then followed by a performance from 7-10.
