Down beat award-winning Hideaki Tokunaga teams up with Juno Award-winning David Braid for intimate jazz guitar and piano performances in Toronto (April 19-21, 25) and Hamilton (April 22).

Inspired by the tradition of Jim Hall and Bill Evans, Tokunaga and Braid will perform jazz standards, Japanese folk songs and original compositions to delicately express interplay, melody, swing and harmonic subtlety. Among their repertoire includes a popular folk song from Kyushu region of Japan , where Tokunaga and Braid first toured together in 2004.
