Live Jazz Thursday

I was away last weekend in Vancouver and realised just how spoilt we are when it come to the great live venues and the quality of performances we have to choose from each week in this city.

Tonight at The Red Guitar the Jared Greeve Quartet is on stage at 7pm followed by Barry Romberg ’s Random Access at 9:30. This is a great line-up includeing Geoff Young, guitar,David Occhipinti, guitar, Kieran Overs, bass and Barry Romberg, drums.
Don’t miss Friday when the Hilario Duran Trio takes over for what is sure to be a unforgettable night. Saturday brings in the Bernie Senensky Quartet.

The Chris Hunt Tentet +2 is in tonight at The Rex. Friday starts of with an early set by Sara Dell before the Don Menza Quintet with Joe & Pat Labarbera take the stage for the first of a two night stay.

Friday Lula Lounge presents the first in there Tropico Jazz Series. Amanda Martinez will be performing her blend of bossa-infused Afro Cuban rhythms, Mexican folk, and jazz.
