The Darren Sigesmund Trio is in tonight at The Red Guitar with Kenny Kirkwood’s Riverdale Trio taking the stage Thursday. Friday a modern approach to jazz wakes the neighbours with Rich Brown’s rinsethealgorithm followed Saturday by the Bernie Senensky Quartet.

The Rex has the Quinsin Nachoff Trio tonight followed at 9:30 by the Nancy Walker Trio. The Andrew Downing Quintet then enter stage left for a two night stop Thursday.

Over at the The Montreal Bistro the David Buchbinder Sextet is in for one night tonight and then it’s the Phil Nimmons Quartet in for three nights starting Thursday.

The Dominion on Queen hosts the Michele Lawrence Quartet Thursday and a Open Stage Jazz, hosted by Nathan Hiltz Sunday.

And finally a new location I’m going to try and keep up with… The Gate 403 sports the Cindy Ashton Jazz Band Saturday and the Scott Kemp Jazz Quartet Monday.
